Rotary Club of Fort Mill welcomes new member Kane Rowell for our new blog series of member portraits.

Here is Kane’s introduction: “Born and raised in Monroe, NC. I blindly followed my wife’s suggestion that we move to Fort Mill after we graduated college. This turned out to be a great decision. We’ve lived in Fort Mill and Rock Hill for 6 years. I spent my first 5 years out of college planning and producing events all over the United States. Within the past year I decided it was time to find a role that allowed me to be home more often. I joined Hospice & Community Care in April of 2019 to assist with fundraising and community outreach efforts.”

Kane continues: “A reason I joined Hospice & Community Care is very similar to the reason I joined the Fort Mill Rotary Club: to become more involved in our community and help those who need it most. The Rotary Club is a vehicle for me to pitch in and give back to the community I call home.”

Kane concludes his member portrait by sharing his hobbies: “I am an avid golfer and sports fan in general. I enjoy traveling and exploring the outdoors.”
